Summer Lynn Woodin, age 22, died unexpectedly at her home on Monday morning, September 28th after having a seizure. She was born in Battle Creek on August 29, 1998, to Richard "Rich" Woodin and Sandra "Sandi" (Cox) Woodin.
Summer is survived by her beautiful 4-year old daughter, Aubree Marie Antes; her parents; her brother, Taylor; her sister, Jessica; her grandparents, Linda and Robert "Bob" Prell; her special friends, Sierra & Kirsten who made up the Three Musketeers; Aubree's dad, Joseph "Joe" Antes; and several aunts, uncles, & cousins. She was sadly preceded in death by her special friend, Racheal Lauren Smith on January 27, 2019; and several family members.
Aubree was truly Summer's entire world and she loved being a devoted mother to her. She also enjoyed fishing, swimming, and spending time with & texting with her friends.
The family will receive friends 4:00 to 6:00, Friday, October 2, 2020 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek. Due to current government regulations, a by invitation only service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 3, 2020.
