Susan Marie "Sue" Bryte, 57, of Battle Creek died at Bronson Battle Creek on Wednesday, June 10, 2015.
Sue was born October 10, 1957 in Battle Creek to Marion Russell "Russ" and Rosemary (Renshaw) Davidson. She grew up in Battle Creek and was a 1975 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. After high school she attended Kellogg Community College and was employed as an office manager for several businesses, but her true love was the garden and landscaping business. She was formerly married to Lawrence (Larry) Bryte of Florida.
Surviving are her mother, Rosemary Davidson of Battle Creek; two sisters, Mary Davidson of Stevensville; Diane Davidson of Battle Creek; one brother, John Davidson of Battle Creek; a niece; a great nephew; a nephew ; a great niece; 3 aunts and 7 first cousins. Sue was preceded in death by her father, Marion Russell Davidson.
She will be remembered as a loving and giving daughter, sister, niece, cousin and above all friend. Sue was a breast cancer survivor, having been declared in full remission some 4 months ago. Sue enjoyed the company of her dogs and cats, landscaping and gardening, and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Her landscapes always included heirloom plants and flowers from both her Grandmothers, and she was always willing to divide them to friends and family who wanted some extra beauty around the house.
A memorial service and get together for family and close friends will be held later this summer. Inurnment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy, MI, next to her Dad and her Davidson grandparents.
