Susan Lynn (Thompson) Scheick

Susan Lynn Scheick, age 67, of Battle Creek, died Monday afternoon, November 30, 2020 at Calhoun County Medical Care Facility, Battle Creek.

She was born the daughter of Melvin and Betty (Carr) Thompson, August 25, 1953 in Battle Creek. She was a graduate of Harper Creek High School. Susan was a homemaker, but had worked for the Battle Creek Public Schools and Triple S Plastics, before her health kept her home.
Because of her mother, Susan was an Honorary Member of the PBX Club, a switchboard operators fellowship.

Susan loved her family, grandchildren, enjoyed making cards, scrap-booking, knitting and playing bingo.

Susan is survived by her son, Craig (Lisa) Scheick of Ft. Wayne, IN; a daughter, Samantha (T.J.) Neubert of Battle Creek; four grandchildren, Dylan, Noah, Caleb and Colton. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Sandra Stephenson and brother, Gary Thompson.

Friends will be received by Susan's family from noon to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 5th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 105 Capital Ave. N.E. A limited funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 5th with Pastor Pete Payne II of the Union City Assembly of God, officiating. Interment will be at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, Battle Creek. Memorial contributions may be made to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 375 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
