Tammy Lynn (Heath) Elkins of Marshall, MI

Tammy, age 56 died on Monday evening, January 21, 2019.

Tammy was on January 7, 1963 in Marshall to Lillie Edwards-Feltner and Gerald Heath. She attended both Battle Creek and Marshall schools graduating from Marshal High School in 1981.

Tammy worked at Toys-R-Us, Cracker Barrel and the Family Health Center. She spent the majority of her life as a care giver working at GLRC and Cretsingers among others. Tammy played pool on a league at the 3rd Base Lounge with her fiance', Brad Spear and was a beloved member of the "YA YA Sisters." She acquired friends from all walks of life and loved all things associated with Harley, Coca-Cola and Pink Floyd. Tammy did spend most of her free time with her fur babies and her grandchildren, that she loved very dearly.

Tammy leaves behind her mother, Lillie Feltner; brothers, Chuck Feltner and Gerald Heath, II; sisters, Sarah "Jo" Feltner and Vicki Sue (Heath) Harden; daughters, Erikka Elkins, Jessica Wilson and Kayleigh Wilson; her beloved grandchildren, Kayden Daniels, Bryce Kurtzman, Eden Drew, Myles Kurtzman and Remington Drew and several nieces and nephews. Tammy was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Elkins, Jr.; her father, Gerald Heath and her dear cousin, Brenda Newly-Harrington among others.

Please join the family to celebrate Tammy's life on Saturday, August 3rd from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Brookside Clubhouse, 4275 Dickman Road, Battle Creek. The Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek is assisting Tammy's family. Memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home.
