Theodora Brust "Teddi" (Fox) Garratt

Theodora Brust Garratt, 85 of Battle Creek, Michigan died Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.

Theodora was born November 15, 1936, and grew up in Toledo and Ottawa Hills, Ohio. She moved to Battle Creek in 1958 and was employed as an English teacher at Lakeview High School in the early 1960's.

She was an avid outdoor enthusiast, loved nature, Michigan scenery and was a talented amateur photographer. She was active in the Red Hatters Society and Battle Creek Ski Club. Theodora was a voracious reader and had a great command of the English language.

Surviving are two sons, Stephen Garratt of Monrovia, CA, Thomas Garratt of Battle Creek and a sister, Constance Rose of Kansas City, KS. Theodora was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick C. and Mary Helen (Brust) Fox.

A memorial service will be officiated by The Reverend Brian Coleman 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2022 in the chapel at St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
