Thomas J. Brown

Thomas J. Brown, 70, of Richland, died May 24, 2025. Tom was born October 7, 1954 in McKeesport, PA to Billy and Mary (Schrockman) Brown. Tom started his working career as a trucker and ended up managing sales.

Tom married the former Denise Miller, on June 3, 2002, who survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Crystal (Matt) Zandarski and Tiffany (Greg) Berry; three grandchildren, Kyrah Kane, Bryce Kane and Noah Zandarski; a sister, Kathy (Michael) Miner; a niece, Amy Robbins; a nephew, Billy Havlock and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tom loved doing anything outside, whether it be fishing, hunting or boating. He was a fun-loving guy who had a great sense of humor. He was extremely generous and would give a stranger the shirt off of his back. There was nothing he cherished more than spending quality time with family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Tom’s life will be 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel. A luncheon at Ned’s on Gull Lake will immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Centrica Care Navigators.
