Thomas Lee Norton went home to be with the Lord on October 29th, 2022. Tom was born in Rockford, Illinois on December 29th, 1942. He grew up in Dowagiac, Michigan, graduated from Western Michigan University in 1965 and served our country in the U.S. Navy from 1965-1969. Tom was a devoted husband, loving father, and joyful grandfather.
Tom married Annelore Birgit Manjura on April 13, 1968, in Orlando, Florida. Tom & Ann were married 54 amazing years. Together, the Lord gave Tom & Ann two beautiful children, Shelly Christine Norton of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Jeffrey Thomas Norton, and his wife, Caron Norton, of Spencer, North Carolina. Tom worked in printing sales and worked for companies like Moore Business Forms, Doubleday Bros. and Superior Business Solutions.
Most importantly, Tom came to know Jesus Christ as Savior & Lord of his life. He faithfully took his family to church all of his life. He loved to hear the Bible preached and to practically apply the Word to his life. Tom attended Gracespring Bible Church in Richland, Michigan and was part of awesome small group there!
In addition to his wife and children, Tom is survived by his grandchildren: Joshua Norton-Calkins, and his wife, Heather, of Battle Creek, Michigan, Kathleen Sandlin of Cadillac, Michigan, Alexis Norton of Indianapolis, Indiana, Martin Norton, Abigail Norton, Nicolas Norton, Vincent Norton, Vivian Norton, Isabelle Norton & Montgomery Norton â all of Spencer, North Carolina.
