Thurein Myint "Max"

Thurein Myint "Max", son of Myinte and Mary "Molly", born November 9, 1966, entered into his Heavenly Home on July 12, 2013, at 3:05 a.m. He was formerly from Burma (Myanmar). He was a medical student at the Institute of Medicine I in Rangoon before he left Burma to come to the United States in 2000. He was the manager at the "Island Grace Spa" in Guam before he became ill and was living with his mom in Battle Creek.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents on both sides; his father, and one of his favorite aunts. He is survived by his mother; two sisters; four nieces & nephews; ten aunts; two uncles, and his girlfriend, Grace Aye.

A visitation will be held 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 14th at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home. Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 15th at the First Baptist Church, 80 E. Michigan Ave., Battle Creek. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the First Baptist Church.
