Timothy M. "Tim" Ellis

Timothy M. "Tim" Ellis, age 45, of Battle Creek passed away unexpectedly on Friday afternoon, November 11, 2022. Tim was born in Battle Creek on January 20, 1977, the loving son of Clare and Mary (Jones) Ellis and graduated from Pennfield High School with the Class of 1995.

Tim married the "Love of His Life", Christina L. Smith at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Battle Creek on February 25, 2006; she survives. He is also survived by his two sons, Alexander and Michael Ellis; his parents, Mary and Clare Ellis of Battle Creek; his sister, Kimberley (J.O. DeOliveira) Ellis of Battle Creek; his brother, Steven (Jennifer Lynn) Ellis of Burlington; and several nieces & nephews.

Tim was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Battle Creek for many years. A true outdoorsman, he truly enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, swimming & gardening.

The family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 17th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek. Funeral services to celebrate Tim's life will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 18th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1312 Capital Ave. SW, Battle Creek. Interment will follow at Bedford Cemetery. Memorials directed to the family in c/o Christina Ellis to help with their boys, would be appreciated.
