Timothy J. "Tim" Robinson, 53, of Battle Creek, died November 5, 2014. Tim was born August 21, 1961 in Battle Creek to Richard and Betty Jo (Allred) Robinson. Tim graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1979 and went on to be the owner and operator of Central Florist. He gave great service to many people in the Battle Creek area for many years. Tim also had a passion for animals, especially the many dogs he loved throughout his lifetime.
Tim is survived by his father, Richard of Battle Creek; a brother, Michael (Donna) Robinson of Bellevue; two sisters, Connie (Jim) Heil of Bourbonnais, IL and Dawn (Cece) Robinson of Battle Creek; six nephews, Cory and Kevin Robinson, Tom, Travis, Trent and Timmons Heil; and a niece, Taylor Reid. Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo, and his life-long companion, Scott Harrison.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate his life will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 10, 2014 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, officiated by The Very Rev. Brian Coleman. Final interment will be held at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Bellevue. Donations in memory of Tim can be made to the Calhoun County Animal Shelter.
