Todd Michael Ahrens, 62, of Delton, MI and formerly of Combined Locks, WI. died Friday, July 31, 2026, at Beacon Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan, following heart surgery complications.
Todd was born January 31, 1964, in Appleton, Wisconsin the son of James William and Alice Marie (Van Grinsven) Ahrens. He grew up in Combined Locks, WI and was a 1982 graduate of Kimberly High School. Todd was employed as a printer for several printing companies including: Durlam (Wisconsin)and Mann and Hummel (Michigan). Todd specialized in flexographic printing and recently worked for Pactiv Evergreen in the printing department.
Todd was previously married to the former Lori Ann Verhagen. Surviving are three sons, Jeremy (Tracy) Ahrens of Plainwell, MI, Andrew (Kiahna) Ahrens of Kimberly, WI, Bradley (Brittany) Ahrens of Appleton, WI; seven grandchildren (Tripp, Lincoln, Madison, Theodore, Lillian, Rosaleigh and Atlas), his father, James W. Ahrens of Combined Locks, WI; siblings, Thomas (Pat) Ahrens (a twin brother) of Shiocton, WI, Randy (Sue) Ahrens of Appleton, WI, Kelly (Dave) Korts of Appleton, WI Mark (Josie) Ahrens of Darboy, WI; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and their families. Todd was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Ahrens.
Todd loved going fishing and was a member of West Michigan Walleye Club. He loved the outdoors and especially spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered as friendly, outgoing, generous and kind-hearted. He was well liked by his coworkers and friends.
Friends will be received at First Presbyterian Church in Richland, 8047 Church St, Richland, MI, on Saturday August 29th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., where a gathering to celebrate Todd’s life will be held. An additional memorial will be held in Wisconsin in the future.
