Virginia D'Lamatter

Virginia M. (Bartz) D'Lamatter, 95, died on May 14, 2022 at Bickford Senior Living in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Virginia spent many years working for the City of Battle Creek Planning Department. Virginia always held a special place in her heart for St. Philip Church and Catholic education in Battle Creek. Virginia has supported the Battle Creek Area Catholic Schools Foundation annually for several decades. Virginia was an active member of St. Philip Parish and quite often would join the High School students for their weekly school masses.

Sewing, travel, philanthropy, great attention to detail in all aspects of her life and a strict diet provided many years of an exemplary life of graciousness and Christian values. She will be greatly missed.

At her request, no services will be held. Memorial mass at St. Philip Catholic Church will take place on June 12 and 26 at 9am mass. Burial will take place at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Messages to the family or favorite memories of Virginia may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com .
