Wendy married Jeffrey O. Martens on September 10th, 1977. He survives. Also surviving are three children, Rev. Jeremy (Deborah) Martens of Oakwood, IL, Melanie Lake of Battle Creek and Ronnie (Amber) Martens; four grandchildren, JaeLynn Vaxter, Kyla Lake, Alison Lake and Abigail Martens; great-granddaughter, Kinsley Hicks; sister, Denise (Billy) Lee; brothers, Jeff (Kim) DeShon and Steve DeShon and many nieces and nephews. She had a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ and lived that out by helping anyone that she could.
