Wesley J. Newhouse

Wesley J. Newhouse, 75, of Richland, died September 17, 2023.  Wesley was born December 16, 1947 in Kalamazoo to John and Elaine (Doxey) Newhouse.  He served his country honorably in the United States Army and drove truck, both locally and over the road until his retirement in 2013. 

Wesley enjoyed fishing, gardening and repairing things.  He was a very generous person and was always willing to help someone in need.

Wesley is survived by his four children, Lori (Mark) Johnson, Traci (Tony) Chipman, Brian (Sharon) Newhouse and Karl (Angie) Newhouse; 7 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 

Wesley married Bonnie Lee Boysen on February 13, 1971.  She sadly preceded him in death in 2014.  He was also preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry and Dale Newhouse. 

A graveside service to celebrate Wesley’s life was held at Prairie Home Cemetery.  Arrangements by the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel.  Personal messages for the family may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
