William Russell "Bill" Adams

William Russell Adams, 77 of Battle Creek died June 11, 2024, at his residence. 

Bill was born March 26, 1947, in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Ward Russell and Pansy Bell (Bettes) Adams. He was a 1965 graduate of Harper Creek High School and honorably served his country in the United States Navy. During his working career, Bill was employed by Clark Equipment Company, The Kellogg Company and Michigan Paperboard Company. 

Bill is survived by his sister, Jennifer A. Schram of Ocklawaha, Florida and three nephews and their families. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael Lee Adams. 

Full military honors will be bestowed by Fort Custer Honor Guard and the United States Navy Honor Guard 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Fort Custer National Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the “VA Medical Center” for the Recreation Fund, B.C. VA Medical Center, Community & Volunteer Service (135), 5500 Armstrong Road, Battle Creek, MI 49037.
