William L. Ferguson

William L. "Bill" Ferguson, Jr., 70, of Hastings, Michigan passed away on Tuesday afternoon, December 17, 2019. Bill was born June 28, 1949 in Shaw, Mississippi to William and Sadie (Roberts) Ferguson. Bill worked for the OI Glass factory in Charlotte, Michigan for 32 years. He faithfully served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Bill enjoyed driving the open road, and just recently received his CDL. His true joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Bill married the former Lynette (Burrows) Hamilton on August 22, 2003; she survives. He is also survived by his son, William Ferguson; step-children, Craig (Tina) Hamilton, Cory Hamilton and Dana (Brian) Look; three grandchildren, Christian Look, Alyssa Hamilton and Sophia Hamilton; two sisters, Linda (Jerry) Simpson and Sheila McConkey-Ferguson; his step-mother, Ann Siders and his in-laws, Louis and Beverly Burrows. He was preceded in death by his parents.
