William L. “Bill” Ginn, Jr., 70, of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo area, died November 18, 2025. Bill was born March 18, 1955 in Detroit, MI to William and Evelyn Kuzma Ginn, Sr. He grew up in Rosedale Park in Detroit and after high school attended Walsh College and Wayne State University, obtaining his bachelor’s degree. He worked as an accountant for the Department of Defense for many years, retiring in 2016.

Bill was an outdoor enthusiast. He loved riding bikes, kayaking and playing tennis, among other outdoor activities. His other passion was music. He played guitar, sang and even led a sing along. Bill and his significant other, Betty, would routinely go dancing every week. After retirement, Bill and Betty did a lot of traveling together; all across the Unites States and even overseas.

Bill is survived by his two daughters, Juli Ginn and Jessica (Robert Kern) Ginn; his mother, Evelyn Ginn; his siblings, Doug Ginn, Mark Ginn, Leanne Garrett, Matt Ginn, Sue Mason, Paula Mason and Beth Priddy and his significant other, Betty Johnson. Bill was preceded in death by his father, William Ginn, Sr.

A Funeral Mass to celebrate Bill’s life will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 5, 2025 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Battle Creek, MI. Immediately following the Mass a luncheon will be provided at the church.  Arrangements by the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care.
