Wilmeta M. "Meta" Uldriks

Wilmeta M. "Meta" Uldriks, age 89, of Battle Creek unexpectedly passed away on Thursday evening, March 7, 2019. She was born in Battle Creek on December 3, 1929, the loving daughter of Casper and Alice Elizabeth (Reynolds) Uldriks. She grew up in the Bedford Area and retired from Post-General Foods after more than 37 years of service.

Meta is survived by her daughter, Pam Uldriks; her sisters, Gerri Adcock of Battle Creek and Alice June Brown of Florida; several nieces & nephews; and her special companions, Terry Uldriks, Marilyn Sanders, Kim Wagner, and Donielle Gazette. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, John, Casper, Reynolds, Harmon, Wilbur and Hank Uldriks.

Meta had a beautiful smile and was a wonderful "people person", with everyone who knew her calling her "Aunt Meta". She loved crocheting and donated thousands of the hats & gloves she crocheted to those in need. Meta also enjoyed playing cards, board games and marbles.

The family will receive friends 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 15th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek where a memorial service to celebrate Meta's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family c/o Pam Uldriks would be greatly appreciated.
